Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam
An independent media studio creating iOS apps, films, music, and stories, crafted with faith, beauty, and excellence for the New Evangelization.
"Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, think about these things."
Philippians 4:8 · The Mission of Seven Swords Productions
About the Studio
Seven Swords Productions is an independent media studio founded in San Antonio, Texas. We exist to produce work that is beautiful, truthful, and worthy of the audience it serves, rooted in the Catholic intellectual and artistic tradition.
Our name draws from the Seven Sorrows of Our Lady: a reminder that great art, like great faith, is forged through suffering, sacrifice, and perseverance. We bring that seriousness of purpose to every project we undertake, from iOS applications on the App Store to narrative films, original music compositions, and published fiction.
We believe the Church has always been the greatest patron of art in human history, and that Catholics today are called to reclaim the culture through excellence: in code, on screen, in sound, and on the page.
Inspired by the tradition of Thomas Aquinas, Flannery O'Connor, and Johann Sebastian Bach, Catholics who gave the world their greatest work.
What We Create
Everything we produce is an act of stewardship: of talent, technology, and the Catholic tradition. We work across four creative disciplines, all serving the same ultimate purpose: to glorify God and build up the culture.
We design and build native applications for Apple platforms across gaming, education, productivity, and utilities. Every app is built with Swift and SwiftUI and published through the Apple App Store.
Narrative films, short-form content, and visual storytelling ordered toward truth and beauty. From concept through final cut, every frame crafted with intention and rooted in the Catholic cinematic tradition.
Original compositions for film, apps, and independent release: atmospheric scores, sacred-influenced arrangements, and sonic work that moves the soul. Rooted in the Church's musical inheritance.
Original fiction, screenplays, and long-form narrative: stories shaped by a Catholic imagination. From short stories to novels, our writing explores the human condition through a sacramental lens.
iOS & macOS Applications
Seven Swords Productions designs and publishes native Apple platform applications, all built in-house with Swift and SwiftUI and distributed through the Apple App Store. These are live today.
